I am a Filipina born and raised in Manila.

I created this blog to share bits and pieces of myself to the world and hopefully to inspire.

  1. I am so you in being a constant learner because I always succumb to the philomath in me too. I believe that this hunger for learning is what makes me a successful person.

I’m happy to meet another woman of diversity. Beautiful blog, by the way.

  2. Thank you so much for the kind words you left on my blog. They were very touching. I see you are also a reader and would highly recommend that you look at The Hunger Games trilogy and if you like that read Divergent by Veronica Roth. Lots of action and a great story in both of these.

    • Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!:) I am not familiar with the books you mentioned but I trust your judgment that these are worth reading so I will definitely get copies!:) Thank you for giving me good book titles to add to my β€˜must read’ list!:)

  3. I love it when people come together and share opinions, great blog, keep it up.

  4. Howdy partner?!

    Enjoyed your posts…more super-power!

  5. Aww it’s so flattering to see my name under your top fave blogs. Thank youu! πŸ™‚ By the way, A Song for Caitlin is one of the first books I read, maybe about 10 years ago. Haha

  6. Hi ate Gian. Thank you for commenting on my blog. πŸ™‚
I see that you love reading, too! I recommend Ramit Sethi and Alvin Tabanag as financial authors. πŸ™‚

  7. Aloha Gian,

I always love reading your posts since I came across your blog. So I wanted to let you know, that I am sharing it with the world and have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!

  8. I found your website and noticed that you have a solid technical background. Wanted to pass along an open source project that you might find interesting. Zurmo is a highly sophisticated open source CRM project that is written in PHP utilizing JQuery, Yii, and RedBeanPHP and relies heavily on test driven development.

Right now, we have 1000+ unit tests running across eight server configurations. It would be incredibly helpful to get your technical feedback and recommendations so that we can improve the application. Take a look and let me know what you think: http://zurmo.org

  9. You have some interesting photos in your slide show πŸ™‚ Yummy pizza, huge tiger, great book–looks like fun! Also love the quote on your homepage. Many thanks for stopping by foodforfun to read about Andrew McCarthy’s hunt for banana bread.
